Our name Proficio means 'to make advancements' and this is at the heart of our company ethos.
Our Origins
Proficio is an independent UK business, based in Scotland founded by our Managing Director, Mark Semple in 1998. We specialise in the manufacture of cleaning products and metal cleaning and restoration services.
We primarily manufactured cleaning products for the transportation industry. Since then, with Mark as a highly experienced chemist who studied at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, we have diversified into other industries.
Our products and services have evolved to reflect the ongoing environmental challenges our planet faces. Our focus is on using innovative technology to develop eco-friendly, low hazard formulations and services.
